A typical day begins at 7am, when children will be given a choice of traditional breakfasts, help with collecting the eggs from the chickens, and get ready for a busy day of equine activities at the stables. At around 9.30am, they will be driven in our brand-new seven-seater Land Rover to one of the Hartwell Riding Stables sites, both within a 25/30minute drive. The children will then spend the day carrying out fun-filled equestrian activities and riding, they will have yummy packed lunches and then return to Foxglove Farm around 5pm.

Back at the farm...

After a busy day at Hartwell, everyone will get showered and ready for dinner. After which, the children usually enjoy filling in their stable diaries and activity books. The rest of the evening is devoted to all the fun activities we have on offer at the farm, from planning and baking our meals for the following day, to tractor rides, treasure hunts and pamper evenings. And when everyone is tired out – and they will be! – it’s time for home-made biscuits and cocoa before bed.
